on September 20, 1992, is based in Los Angeles, California, United
States of America. It's a non-profit organization and is affiliated with the Movimento Tradicionalista Gaucho, which has its headquarters in Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The Movimento Tradicionalista Gaucho has the support of the Secretariat of Education and Culture of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The purpose of this organization is to promote and preserve the culture, costumes and traditions of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. They also promote family values, striving to unite each family and all families together as one family. There is no discrimination by nationality, race, color, religion or ideology. The majority of member families of the Centro Cultural Gaucho are immigrants from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, but a couple more are from other states of Brazil.
